For all bookings please contact our Engagements Secretary Bob Tarring. It would be appreciated if this can be well in advance of your event although it may be possible to accept within three weeks of the date, unless of course someone has beaten you to it.

Reputation

No other brass band in the immediate area works as hard as Ferndown. By presenting ourselves to the general public we have a reputation second to none of a band that gives a good performance at a reasonable cost.

The cost of engaging us

Subject to negotiation. If travelling beyond a 10 mile radius of the band room then extra charges apply. Points taken into consideration include the nature of the event, location, expected attendance, cost of entry to the general public, time of the event, distance to travel, cover and provision of facilities, any hospitality to the players, inside or outside and type of programme required.

Usually we play two 45 minute programmes with a 15 minute break. Other timings subject to negotiation.
