We welcome players that wish to participate in the common purpose of brass band music, which is to have fun, entertain and enjoy their association with us.

The band has a broad range of ages, with our eldest member aged 84 and we have had players as young as 14 join, who maintain their connection with us when they go on to University.

Current Vacancies

We currently have vacancies for bass and cornet players, in particular the band would wish to recruit a gifted and experienced soprano cornet player. We would also be pleased to hear from gifted teenagers who would like the chance to play in a brass band, even if they could not readily commit to joining at this time.

Opportunities to rehearse and perform are open to any musician who would care to contact me and discuss the possibilities. This is especially available to people between 11-31 in age who have the performance capability at Grade 5 or higher.
